The Punjab Technical University has established Distance Education Programme. The DEP offers various undergraduate and postgraduate courses. All the courses offered by the PTU under this programme have been approved by joint committee of "AICTE-UGC-DEC "The course materials are supplied to the students by University at free of cost. There are about 1600 Learning Centers throughout the Country. Well qualified and experienced faculties are involved in the classroom teaching .
